Graduates

Working Guide- These dogs have undergone 14-18 months of training and socializing in the raiser home, 4-6 months of harness training, and 3-4 weeks of training with their new handler.

 

Breeder- These dogs have the top physical and behavioral characteristics that Guide Dogs for the Blind looks for in their guide dogs.  Very few dogs are chosen to be breeders and they have a large impact on the quality of dogs in the program.
